
Jen Lim

Jen, who was born and raised in London, made her first short film at the Beijing Film Academy before returning to the UK to graduate with a degree in Film & TV from the University of Bristol.
She crews on Film, TV and commercials all the while writing and directing character driven stories.
Her films, which she creates under the umbrella Studio Limpet, focus on characters who feel misunderstood or unheard and explore societal issues often through an off beat and quirky lens.
Her short film "Apocalypse Anytime Now", funded by the Roundhouse and Ex-Animo foundation, won Best National Film at the Making Waves Film Festival. Her latest films "My Grief isn't Grief Enough" and "Discord", winner of the Other Brother Studios film fund, are now screening at festivals, most recently at BIFA-qualifying Brighton Rocks and North East International and 225 Film Club with "celebrates excellence in female direction".
Jen has several live action and animation shorts, and two feature screenplays in development.
She is a member of BAFTA connect, Directors UK, Cinesisters and Primetime.
